Interview with WPMA Viola Student Arsheya Singh at NYO2 2025

We’re proud to share that Arsheya Singh, a 16-year-old violist from William Pu Music Academy, was recently featured in an interview spotlight by NYO2, the prestigious national youth orchestra that she was selected to perform in earlier this year. In the video, Arsheya reflects on her musical journey, the power of collaboration, and what this opportunity means to her as a young artist.

Arsheya, a dedicated student of violist Mrs. Amy Chang since 4th grade, is one of just 12 violists nationwide chosen to join NYO2 2025. The program connects exceptional teen musicians from across the U.S. with top-level coaching, mentorship, and performance experiences.

As part of NYO2’s first-ever European tour, Arsheya will take the stage at Carnegie Hall in New York and Usher Hall in Edinburgh, performing alongside fellow young talents and celebrated conductors.
